Products and Niche Offerings

AWN provides custom bandwidth solutions for large enterprise customers.  These solutions include everything from stand-alone dark fiber to fully managed DWDM or IP systems.  All systems are private networking and provide the highest security telephony transport available.

Dark Fiber based DWDM network solutions, system lease, not bandwidth solution.

System solutions comprised of three options:

• Unprotected point to point system

• Protected fiber route, single electronics

• Fully redundant protected fiber routes, dual 1+1 electronic protection

Solution Differentiators

Carrier solution costs are bandwidth sensitive, using shared electronics (MPLS switches), with limited scalability.

System Lease provides additional data security through dedicated fiber/electronics with additional capacity that provides future bandwidth on demand .  Costs are not bandwidth sensitive, and customers can add additional sites to this backbone to create a core system, or can be stand alone.

Fiber solutions

Fiber Solutions can range from non-critical replication to complete fully redundant systems for mission critical networks.

Systems can be DWDM, TDM/Sonet, Fibrechannel or direct IP connected.  Choice of system will depend on network requirements, anticipated growth and distance limitations.
